Everything you need to know about using HOP Player.
No. HOP Player is a pure media player and does not contain or provide any channels, streams or content. To use the app you upload your own playlist (M3U or Xtream Codes) from a legal provider or source you already have. For privacy reasons we do not have access to your playlists and cannot provide assistance with them.
Open HOP Player and enter your own M3U URL or Xtream Codes login (server, username and password) on the pairing/login screen. Once added, your live channels, movies and series will appear in the app.
First make sure your playlist is working and active, and that it has no limitations or problems (for example a connection limit). For privacy reasons we have no access to your playlists, so we cannot troubleshoot the playlist itself — please check with your provider. A stable internet connection is also required for smooth playback.
This is usually caused by the playlist provider limiting the number of simultaneous connections, or by a slow / unstable internet connection on the device. Make sure no other device is using the same playlist at the same time and that your network connection is stable.
HOP Player displays EPG information when your provider’s playlist is EPG-ready and includes guide data. If your provider supplies EPG, it will be shown in the app automatically.
HOP Player runs on Android phones and tablets, Android TV boxes, Fire TV / Fire Stick, Smart TVs, and is coming soon to iPhone and iPad. See the Downloads page.
No. HOP Player does not collect personal information, does not use cookies and does not log your activity. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
